Review: Vampire Most Wanted by Lynsay Sands

PS> This cover is HOT!

Blurb:
Take a road trip with the undead… in this latest in the Argeneau series by New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands.

For Basha Argeneau, anything is better than facing her estranged family. Even hiding out in sweltering southern California, but when a sexy immortal in black shows up determined to bring her back to the clan, she'll do anything to keep far, far away from the past that she can't outrun.

Marcus Notte isn't here to play games- especially not with someone as crazy as the infamous blonde. Asked by Lucian Argeneau to bring her back for questioning, Marcus is determined to carry out Lucian's request- no matter how the seductive little mind-reading vamp feels about it.

Basha doesn't mind fighting fire with fire, especially with a hot immortal involved. But if he wants to take her away, he'll have to catch her first…

Review:
A few weeks ago I read a blog post that questioned if the market for vampire romance was dwindling. Obviously the author of that that article is not reading Lynsay Sands, Argeneau Series. I fall in love with this series a little more after finishing each new book, and there are twenty in total, so that is a lot of love.

Vampire Most Wanted is a wonderful new addition to this series. The latest couple. Divine (Basha) and Marcus are definitely very high on my list of favorite Argeneau couples. Marcus takes care of people, that is just what he does, and Basha is no rogue, no matter what rules she "thinks" she may have broken. When these two come together sparks fly and things catch on fire (literally). This book is also packed with intense action and the reappearance of characters that  fans of the "darker" Argeneau characters will enjoy. Basha gives the term "ball-buster" a new meaning, and gave me a lot of laughs (inside joke-you must read this book to get it). Move over Immortal Ever After, I still love you, but Vampire Most Wanted just snuck ahead of you on my favorites shelf.

For those of you not familiar with the Argeneau series, it can be read in order or as stand-alone books. Other fans may disagree with me on this, but I started this series out of order, fell in love with it and in the span of about three months read all the books currently published! Lynsay Sands writes a different sort of vampire romance. Her romances are light hearted, there is humor, love, lust and good food.  Argeneau immortals have life mates, and when they find their life mate their lives change, they begin to eat/crave real food in addition to the necessary blood, their combined passion is explosive, and there is nothing they won't do for their mate.

If you ARE reading this series, be sure to grab this book ASAP! You are going to love it. If you AREN'T reading this series, please consider giving it a try. I have this book 5 STARS and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I was provided an ARC of this book for an honest unscripted review, as always all opinions expressed here are my own. Until next time… Happy Reading (and if you are reading an Argeneau book I can guarantee you will be happy)!

  1. I am addicted to Lynsay Sands. I adore everything about her books and raced out to get this when it 1st. appeared. At the time I was reading a Judith McNaught and love her too, but the delight in all nighters to read Lynsay is irresistible! Thanks for the opportunity. Connie
